What our Clients are saying

lizdaniels straight February at AMA

"AMA has been helping Brecon Beacons Holiday Cottages since May 2010 and we are absolutely delighted with the results. AMA has worked tirelessly to promote our business, assisting us with Social Media, PR and Marketing.  They have successfully organised several co-promotions with national and international brands. Most spectacularly AMA arranged, at short notice, a week long on-site promotion in London’s Canary Wharf that attracted a huge amount of interest for our cottages and we are still seeing bookings nearly two years later.

Since teaming up with AMA, bookings have increased by 10% and our database has grown by over 3,000.  We have seen coverage in all national newspapers and many national magazines, websites and also coverage in Holland and Belgium as a result of their efforts."

Elizabeth Daniel, Director Brecon Beacons Holiday Cottages

“I have nothing but praise for AMA. Frank, Alexandra and their team are evidently a great rarity; PROPER, genuine PR people, working according to their own loves and enthusiasms, rather than simply being slaves to the dollar...something of a miracle these days. Their passion for the beautiful landscapes of Wales, their enthusiasm for its enterprising small businesses which are themselves born of a great deal of love, are truly inspirational and I am deeply grateful to them for everything they are doing, not only for me, but for everyone who loves this country and its people.
Wales is full of success stories, some small, some large, all born of enterprise and passion, and we have needed a PR company like this for quite some time.”
Adele Nozedar, writer
b bug straight February at AMA"We relied heavily on the excellent services of Frank and Alexandra Marr to help us promote our recent b-bug trial for visitors to the Brecon Beacons National Park. They were always enthusiastic and through their excellent network of contacts, they attracted top travel journalists to come and try the b-bugs and write about them. Largely as a result of the Marrs’ efforts, the b-bug project was featured on the BBC Wales website, in The Guardian, The Independent, The Daily Mirror, The Western Mail, London Metro and on the Yahoo travel site. The latter delivered nearly 1000 hits on the b-bug website in a single day."
Dr Alison Kidd, The Prospectory

amanda February at AMA“I had the pleasure of working with Alexandra while she was at Visit Wales. She is a wonderful professional and supportive colleague--the kind of person that coworkers and partners were clamoring to work with again and again. I particularly admired her prescience in adopting a very forward-thinking social media strategy for Wales before many other organizations had a sophisticated understanding of this important tool in the marketer's arsenal. Warm, personable, organized, kind, innovative, on-trend and creative are all adjectives that immediately spring to mind when thinking about Alexandra and her work. She is a dynamic individual who will not only work tirelessly to help clients and partners realize their business objectives, but make that collaborative process a pleasure to realize. I highly recommend her, as her keen intelligence and highly specialized knowledge in her field are a supreme asset in today's competitive business environment.”

Marketing and Public Relations campaign in the US. I have also traveled to Wales with Alex and have worked with her in her new capacity with AMA. Alex's poise, intelligence, intuition and professionalism inform everything she does. She anticipates a journalist's needs and goes out of her way to help make great stories happen. I always think that great PR people have a bit of the journalist in them and Alex is one of these -- a great PR pro with a journalists' ability to draw out the most telling points of any story. I could not recommend Alex any higher. She is one of the most polished and professional people in the travel industry -- a real gem.”

the boston globe February at AMA “Many of us U.S.-based travel journalists knew Alex well and admired her a great deal. She's one of those rare people who seem genuine and completely sincere while representing a client--which means everything to those of us whose living depends on sorting 'fact from fiction.' A regular contributor to the travel section of The Boston Globe, among others, I was fortunate to take part in a media trip that she was in charge of while she was marketing manager at VisitBritain. It was one of the best such experiences I've ever had, thanks to Alex's non-stop efforts to provide an unstilted, full-fledged, and super-friendly look at the part of England we were covering. I can't recommend her enough.”

“Alexandra was such a large help for Ultimate Golf Vacations to become involved with Golf and Tourism to Wales. We knew the challenges that lay ahead when we first started sorting items in 2008 on opening up a new destination and one that had been 'low profile' in the North America golf market, especially when compared to its neighbours to the North and West. By Summer 2009 we were moving forward with contacts and leads in all areas of tourism to help us develop this extensive program, with so much help and communication from Alexandra and her role with Visit Wales. From opening the doors to build a business relationships to ensuring the right decision makers got our details, requests and follow up, she was the right key contact to make this happen for us and for the local tourism community. Never an easy task, but always dependable on getting the answers. We are very appreciative for her hard work.”
