A Marr & Associates was founded back in 2010 as a lifestyle and travel PR agency by brother and sister team Alexandra and Frank Marr. Having worked for international tourism organisations in the UK and abroad, the team now specialises in the promotion of tourism and lifestyle products.
Today, our clients range from European tourist boards and national parks to award-winning hotels and innovative experiential activity providers.

Marketing Director

Frank spent almost two years in South Korea before joining AMA. Frank brings an enormous amount of creativity, passion and a contagious enthusiasm to our work. Frank has proven that he is an extraordinary networker and has built up an enviable media list. He has secured significant coverage in international and national media including The New York Times, The Gadget Show, The Times, The Daily Telegraph, The Daily Mail and De Telegraaf (largest newspaper in The Netherlands). Frank enjoys talking (to everyone). He is also passionate about literature, travel and sport.

Alexandra Marr

Managing Director

Alexandra has more than 15 years' experience in the tourism industry, most of it in North America. Her career was founded on PR experience gained while working in the busy VisitBritain press office in New York. She later took on a management role as Director, North America for Visit Wales, where she managed PR, Marketing and Travel Trade for Wales in North America. She is results driven and has built an outstanding reputation for hard work and commitment. Alexandra established AMA in May 2010 after returning to the UK.

Thomas Watts

Chief copywriter

Tom Watts joined AMA in 2012 having interned with a partner site of the United Nations Environment Programme as well as spending time at both The Times and the Independent Traveller. Tom's first hand experience means he is ideally suited to be contacting journalists on a daily basis and, since joining, has garnered significant coverage in numerous national and local publications. He is also a talented copywriter, providing copy for clients and publications alike and manages our client blogs.

Annabel Herrick

PR Executive

Annabel graduated from Manchester University with a degree in English and French. Before joining AMA she interned with Manchester’s largest PR company. Annabel is an excellent communicator and is already responsible for a whole sheaf of media coverage. She has also taken our blog under control and you can now read more about our monthly activities in the blog section.

Paul joined AMA in April 2014 from the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew where he headed up trade and group sales, increasing revenue by 25% and running a series of high profile events and campaigns. He has more than 15 years experience in travel PR and marketing, previously based in New York City as Director for Visit Wales in North America.
